The goal of Tim Kennaugh Coaching is to optimise every minute you spend on your bike.

However, having a coach won’t magically turn you into a world class cyclist overnight.
You get out what you put in, our role is to ensure that what you’re putting in is the right volume and intensity at the right time.

Tim Kennaugh

I’ve had the good fortune of seeing cycling from many angles, as a fan, a rider, a soigneur, a sports director,  a performance manager and a coach. This has given me a very well rounded outlook on what it takes to succeed. I work with sportive riders who have smashed their PBs and also taken on mammoth challenges such as completing all 21 stages of the TDF sportive while also working full time. I work with junior and under 23 National Champions along with multiple Olympic and World Gold medalists, World Tour winners and Grand Tour lead jersey wearers.

I am currently the Director of Performance at EF Education First – Drapac powered by Cannondale having previously worked as performance manager for JLT Condor alongside general manager and Head DS John Herety. In this role I have gained experience coaching members of the team to a high level, organizing race programs and managing races.

I grew up in a cycling family and have a great passion for both the sport and winning. I raced for the Olympic Development Program and the Olympic Academy Program, winning National and European medals on the road and track. I also spent a season racing as an amateur in Italy before being diagnosed with chronic thyroid disease while racing for Rapha Condor, which forced a career change.

I am a qualified British Cycling Level 2 road and track coach, a UCI qualified Director Sportif and have attended a British Cycling Training with Power seminar.  I’ve also attended a week-long Neurolinguistic Programming course in order to help me better understand the mindsets of my athletes and how to get the best out of them.
